For his presentation “Transcatheter Repair of Anterior Mitral Leaflet Perforation: Deploy, Retrieve, Redeploy,” interventional cardiology fellow Dr. Abdul Haseeb Qazi received the “Best Structural Case of 2019” award at the recent Transcatheter Cardiovascular Therapeutics (TCT) scientific symposium in San Francisco late last month.
Sponsored by the Cardiovascular Research Foundation, the 31st annual TCT2019 brought researchers and clinicians from around the world to present and discuss the latest evidence-based research in the field.
In a tweet, Qazi thanked his mentor Sidakpal Panaich, MBBS, clinical assistant professor in Cardiovascular Medicine, “for the opportunity, guidance, and help during the case presentation.” Qazi also thanked the conference organizers for the honor.
