It feels like we barely finished saying good-bye to our graduates, but Tuesday night, it was time to start saying hello. More than 30 residents have already begun their orientation and training in the next big step of their medical careers.
The Department of Internal Medicine hosted these trainees and their families in a tranquil setting on a beautiful summer evening. Over burgers and brats, we got to take a moment from the day-to-day to put faces to names and learn a little more about each other before diving into the wild pace of another academic year.
Thank you to the faculty and staff for organizing the event and to the returning residents for helping us greet the newest members of our extended family. Welcome, all!
