Prashant Bhave, MD, has been named Medical Director of the UI Heart and Vascular Center’s EP Lab. Dr. Bhave will spearhead initiatives under the guidance of Michael Giudici, MD, Director of the Section of Electrophysiology. Drs. Bhave and Giudici are joined by a talented provider team consisting of Drs. Alex Mazur, Denice Hodgson Zingman, Rick Hopson, Steve Bailin, Steven Mickelsen, and ARNPs Ann Achoff and Eileen Yeisley.
Dr. Bhave will be responsible for providing operational leadership for the lab. This will include scheduling and workflow, quality assessment and management, oversight of patient and faculty scheduling, and lab staff retention and engagement. Congratulations, Dr. Bhave!
